Damariscotta native and acclaimed mezzo-soprano Kate Aldrich will be the special guest at this year’s annual Lincoln Theater meeting, which will take place at 7 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 11 at the theater, located at 2 Theater St., Damariscotta.
The doors to the newly renovated “old staircase” and to this free event will open at 6:30 p.m., for nonmembers and members alike to begin the evening’s reception, catered by King Eider’s Pub. After a brief theater update, the program will continue, as in previous years, with Aldrich being joined by Lincoln Theater Executive Director Andrew Fenniman for an intimate conversation. Their talk will also include taking questions from the audience. The evening will conclude with a dessert reception.
Though not required, in order to plan appropriately for this free event the theater requests that, if possible, guests planning to attend make a reservation by emailing the theater at info@lcct.org or by calling and leaving a message with their name and number of guests at 563-3424.
