This year’s “Keep Waldoboro Beautiful” river & road cleanup will take place Friday, May 19, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. This is an opportunity for community members, students, and local watermen to pick up trash along the main roads and waterways of Waldoboro. Volunteers and gear donations are welcome from individuals, families, or businesses!
Participating businesses will be given a yard sign for the month of May stating that “This Business is Helping Keep Waldoboro
Beautiful!”
Volunteers can meet at Pine Street Landing in Waldoboro (56 Pine St, Waldoboro, ME 04572) at any time during that window, where representatives from the Waldoboro Police Department and Medomak Valley High School’s Medomak Alternative Program will provide trash bags, rubber gloves, reflective vests, and picking sticks for participants. Water and snacks will also be provided.
