The next meeting of the LC RACES and LCARC will be this Wednesday February 9th starting at 6:00 PM for the LC RACES. The location will be the Newcastle Fire House on River Rd. The LCARC meeting will start
immediately after the LC RACES meeting. No Tech session is planned for this meeting.
Beginning with 2022, the LCART is now the LC RACES. John WC1G has prepared a presentation to explain what has changed, what expectations Lincoln Co. EMA has for the Team, and what this means for the RACES
members. Rather than meet bi-monthly as has been the practice for both groups over the last few years, the LC RACES will now meet monthly.
LCARC will continue to meet during the even months. There will be a Q & A after John’s presentation.
With the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic still among us and for those who are not comfortable meeting in a room setting, an invitationo attend by a virtual meeting via ZOOM is below.
New to ZOOM? Go here: https://zoom.us/ Set up an account and download the software. Once that is done, configure it. You can put your name /callsign / etc… in your ID for others to know who you are. This is
easily changed if you are joining other meetings. You’ll want to configure your sound system as well. Mic and speakers. A camera is a plus, but not necessary.
