The Photography of E. Joseph Leighton, 1884-1957, in Lincoln County, Maine: An Illustrated Lecture is the title of an upcoming lecture by Michael Chaney, executive director of the Frances Perkins Center in Damariscotta. The program will be held at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 3 in the community room of the Newcastle fire station on River Road. Refreshments will be served following the presentation.
The Leighton exhibition is on display at the Lincoln County Historical Association’s Old Jail on Federal Street, Wiscasset on weekends through September.
