The next Ocean on Tap is next Thursday August 21st starting at 6pm at Footbridge Brewery in Boothbay Harbor. Science writer Leah Campbell of Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Sciences will be sharing about what causes — and how to prepare for — tsunamis, rogues, and other massive waves!
Ocean on Tap is an informal, ocean-centric speaker series organized by researchers from Bigelow Laboratory and hosted by Footbridge Brewery in Boothbay Harbor. Our goal is to bring people of the community together over the fascinating world of the ocean. At these events, speakers will share their corner of expertise in the ocean, and attendees are encouraged to ask questions.
