All dances are taught and dancers of all ages and experience are welcome. Oyster Creek Fiddlers and Friends will be providing the music. All proceeds benefit Friends of Music Education at Great Salt Bay.

Join Sean Fleming and his nine-piece Dam’ Rag Scotta Orchestra for the “Real Ragtime Concert,” a collection of classic, early 20th century Rag tunes, on Saturday, March 10 at 4:00 PM at the Union Church of South Bristol.

Come and help usher in the start of the spring season in the charming Union Church, nestled on beautiful Rutherford Island and found at 2178 ME-129, South Bristol, ME 04568. The concert will be free, with donations accepted to pay for repairs to the Union Church. Refreshments will be served after the concert in the parish hall opposite the church. Taught by East Forty Farm’s own Neal Foley who trained at Ballymaloe Cookery School, has raised livestock for over 20 years, was a purveyor of products to Seattle restaurants and ran a catering business practicing nose to tail cooking.

Sean Fleming is an accomplished pianist, singer, music director and an award winning musician. For the past 23 years he has served as organist at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Newcastle. Sean performs with and is music director for Hearts Ever Young (HEY) and is the assistant director of the 150-voice Midcoast Community Chorus. Performance will be in the Schooner Cove library.
