Old-time troubadour Putnam Smith, who brings 19th century traditions to 21st century songwriting, will perform at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 10 at the Little Brown Church in Round Pond. This Portland-based multi-instrumentalist — he plays guitar, mandolin, fretless banjo, and piano — will be joined by folk-funk cellist April Reed-Cox, delivering a show that promises both lyrically crafted songs and a foot-stomping good time.
Admission to Smith’s Little Brown Church performance is $12; a portion of the concert proceeds will go toward the maintenance of this historic building.
