Join us for the Annual Sanford Open fundraiser. Each year hundreds of people gather for a weekend of friendly tennis competition and good natured auction bidding to raise over $50,000 for youth tennis programming through the Central Lincoln County YMCA in Damariscotta, Maine. This August will be our annual event. Throughout the weekend of August 11, 2023, participants will purchase tickets to play in social mixed doubles and/or light hearted yet high intensity triples tournaments. Tennis events will be held outdoors at the Lincoln Academy Sanford Courts, Newcastle, ME. Rain location CLCYMCA, Damariscotta, ME. The weekend will be capped off with a fundraising reception with hors d’oevres and a live auction. The proceeds of the event will go toward bringing tennis to community children through a backpack initiative, free stay and play tennis programming and free red ball tennis for all area youth ages 5-8.
