Spectrum Generations Coastal Community Center, 521 Main Street in Damariscotta will, in the spirit of the holiday season, host Santa’s Holiday Luncheon and a Twas the Night Before Christmas Swap on Wednesday, December 21 at 11:15am. Following the luncheon where, yes, Santa will be the guest of honor, the Evergreen String Orchestra under the direction of Katie Newell will perform seasonal selections. Bring a small gift to pass and ultimately exchange while Twas the Night Before Christmas is read.
In the spirit of the holiday season Santa’s luncheon is also yours to create. Share a song, a poem, holiday memory or story, bring your musical instrument and create an improvisational group performing holiday tunes or leading a holiday sing-a-long using the Center’s keyboard. Be festive and remember to wear your favorite holiday outfit (sweater, shirt, skirt, pants, tie, hat, cap, ”fascinator”, ear muffs or jewelry).
