Sea glass jewelry is your opportunity to become an artist and to create a beautiful souvenir pendant and matching earrings with sea glass found on local Maine beaches. Under the guidance of the Sea Glass Lass Lynne Thompson, explore the art of wrapping sea glass with wire as you create your own unique, one of a kind earrings and pendants, to give to someone special or to keep as a lasting memory of your summer visits to the Maine coast. After participating in Lynne’s summer souvenir in a wrap sea glass workshop on August 11, 1:00 p.m.
Please bring a pair of small needle nose pliers. To make your souvenir piece a bit more meaningful, remember to bring that jar of sea glass or small beach stones that you’ve collected.
Participant fee of $30 includes materials. Please remember to register in advance for Lynne’s workshop by calling 563-1363. Community members across all generations are welcome. Home schooled students, their teachers and parents are encouraged to register and participate.
