Summer is coming and so are the sharks! Learn more about these amazing creatures from researcher and conservationist Sue Perkins on Wednesday, April 24 at 5:30PM when she speaks at the Waldoboro Public Library (958 Main Street, Waldoboro).
Sue Perkins, a science teacher at Brunswick High School, has spent the past three years researching white sharks in the Gulf of Maine as part of her Master’s degree for Miami University in Ohio. She will talk about sharing our waters with white sharks, and how to be “Shark Smart” and “Shark Aware”. After her talk, we’ll be able to look forward to a peaceful summer co-existing with our finny friends.
This program is provided free of charge thanks to the Friends of the Waldoboro Library. Donations are gratefully accepted.
