Event Type
Books, pies, art and a quilt raffle are all on offer at this year’s St. Giles Jefferson book sale. There will be an impressive array of books on current affairs, politics and history as well as a big collection of fiction, mysteries, biographies, cookbooks and more. The home-baked pie collection will include the usual favorites, plus a few surprises. A special feature of this year’s event will be the sale of many beautiful, and beautifully framed, etchings. Topping off the event will be a raffle of a light-weight queen-size quilt (88” by 88”) produced by Christine Knight and Leslie McCormick, to honor the memory of master quilter Lu Archer, who produced quilts for St. Giles fundraisers for many years. Tickets are available for $5 each or 5 for $20.
