Wells-Hussey American Legion Post #42 in Damariscotta will be celebrating the 241st birthday of the U.S. Marine Corps on Thursday, Nov. 10. There will be a potluck supper at 6 p.m., preceded by a 5 p.m. social hour.
All Marines are encouraged to attend; one need not be a member of the post. Attendees are asked to please bring a dish to share.
The commandant’s message will be read and cake will be cut. The youngest Marine will serve cake to the oldest Marine.
