Event Type
Join us at Colonial Pemaquid as we step back in time to the rough and tumble world of 17th century Maine. Discover why watercraft such as the birch bark canoe and shallop were so important to the Wabanaki,
English, and French as they traded, negotiated, socialized, and fought with one another. The program will be highlighted as the crews of an English fishing shallop and Wabanaki birch bark canoe navigate the lower reaches of the Pemaquid River.
Rain date Sunday, July 31.
Admission is free.
