As part of participation in National Fire Prevention Week, the Waldoboro Fire Department has planned an open house at the fire station, located at 1600 Atlantic Highway, Waldoboro.
There will be plenty to do, including: a bouncy house, games, fire-truck rides, a photo history of the fire department, fire-prevention materials, a smoke trailer, a Fire Marshal Command Center, Sparky the Fire Dog, Lincoln County RMA Command Center, fire extinguisher inspections by Maine Fire Equipment Company, a mini race car on display, Smokey the Bear, and much more.
