UPDATE: Due to the wet weather predictions on Saturday, May 30, the annual May Festival at Sheepscot Valley Children’s House in Wiscasset is cancelled. There will be a school Open House and classroom tours of the school for prospective families from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Sheepscot Valley Children’s House, at 127 Federal St. in Wiscasset, will hold its annual May Festival and Open House from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 30.
The magical little school on the hill overlooking the Sheepscot River has served the Midcoast community for more than 40 years, welcoming preschool children to learning about themselves, other people, the arts, nature, and the world around them.
All are invited to come and enjoy fun activities on the playground, a pizza lunch provided by First National Bank, and tours of the classrooms.
The annual May Festival auction is open for bidding online at new.biddingowl.com/SVCH until May 30. The auction offers a wide selection of quality local goods and services, fun family experiences, outdoor adventures, and dining out opportunities.
Sheepscot Valley Children’s House programs feature both Montessori and traditional teaching methods and materials.
