Fireworks at 9 p.m.
At 2 p.m., Saturday, July 6, the Colonial Pemaquid State Historic Site will host its annual reading of the Declaration of Independence with commentary by living history interpreters.
On the Fourth of July, the Round Pond parade will start at Masters Machine Co., Lower Round Pond Road, at noon. The parade will proceed to Route 32, turn left, and continue through the village, ending at the Padebco storage facility on Route 32.
The Damariscotta Fireworks Festival will begin at 6 p.m. in the municipal parking lot, with food and live music. The fireworks display over the Damariscotta River will begin at dusk.
A parade will start in Kings Mills at 10 a.m. and a cake walk, country auction, games, face-painting, and a white elephant sale will follow, with plenty of food available.
The parade will begin at 10 a.m. and proceed from Hooper Street to Federal Street, Main Street, and Middle Street.
Fireworks will take place at approximately 9:15 p.m.
