An evening of community and school fun is on tap at the annual Nobleboro Nonsense fundraising event Friday, April 8, at Nobleboro Central School, 194 Center St., Nobleboro. Ticket sales and dinner will run from 5-6:30 p.m.; prize drawings will start at 6:30 p.m.
This year’s menu is pasta, salad, breadsticks, dessert, and a beverage. The cost is $5 for ages 10 and up; children under 10, $3; children under 2, free. The price includes dinner and three raffle tickets; additional raffle tickets will be available for 25 cents each or five for a dollar.
Dozens of gift baskets and other raffle items have been donated by area businesses, parents, students, staff, and community members. Tickets for a chance to win these items must be purchased at the event and winners must be present to win.
Eighth-graders from Nobleboro Central School will help with organizing, setting up, serving, and cleanup for this event.
