The Maine Love of Recovery Music Festival will be held at Clark’s Cove Farm, 107 Ridge Road, Walpole on Friday and Saturday, Aug. 26 and 27. The aim of the festival is to bring awareness and education about the current opioid/heroin epidemic in Maine and the United States as a whole. This event is free to all and open to the public.
Festival attendees can go to the recovery information tent manned all day with addiction professionals to help everyone. The festival will feature bands and solo acts along with a list of 10-minute professional addiction speakers in between bands.
Featured musicians/bands include: The Rockers in Recovery Special Guest Rockers, Crush, Selfish Steam, John McAndrew, Ceefor Ebrahim, and Stacey Hampton.
