The Edgecomb Historical Society will launch the town’s 250th birthday with a talk by local historian Chip Griffin on Sunday, Jan. 7, 2024 at the Merry Barn.
The talk, entitled “Four Amazing Centuries of Edgecomb History,” will be filled with informative stories and humorous anecdotes, called “squibs.”
The event, which begins at 3 p.m., is free and open to the public. The talk will be followed by homemade soups catered by Edgecomb’s Sunset Hill Farm.
The Merry Barn is located at 417 River Road in Edgecomb.
