Amy Jo Thorpe, 52, of Port Charlotte, Fla. and South Bristol, passed away peacefully Aug. 7 after a long illness at Kindred Hospital in Tampa, Fla.
Amy Jo was born June 23, 1963, the daughter of Nancy Prentice Thorpe and the late Albert Thorpe of South Bristol.
She is survived by her “soul mate” John Raphial; beloved son, William Albert Raphial; mother, Nancy Thorpe; brother, Richard Keith Thorpe, all of Port Charlotte, Fla.; nephew, Keith Richard Thorpe; niece, Kami Marie Thorpe; two great-nephews, all of Maine; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Per Amy Jo’s wishes there will be no funeral. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date in Port Charlotte, Fla.
