Barbara Mary (nee McMahon) Marshall, 80, of King of Prussia, Penn. and Pemaquid Point, New Harbor, died on Jan. 11.
Born Nov. 16, 1930 in New York City, N.Y. to Mary Bridget White and John Rodman McMahon, she grew up in the Bronx and went to Hunter College.
On Aug. 23, 1952 she married Leonard J. Marshall. While her family was always her first love and priority, Barbara was a friend to everyone, no matter their status in life, she made everyone feel welcomed and comfortable.
Barbara was a long time volunteer with Hospice and also at the Pemaquid Point Lighthouse Fisherman’s Museum. She also enjoyed gardening.
She was predeceased by a brother, John McMahon.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Leonard J. Marshall; children, Patrick (Kate), Kathleen (Joe) Treese, Lee, Ellen (Nick) Stephan, Jane (Jeff) Kessler, Gina (Mark) Gatti, Beth (Corey) Stolte and L.J.; 11 grandchildren; brother, Martin McMahon; and sisters-in-law, Natalie and Betty McMahon.
Memorial donations in her memory to the Augustinian Mission Fund, P.O. Box 340, Villanova, PA 19085 would be appreciated.
