Brant Ralph Perry, 63, of Chelsea, died at home on Sept. 21.
He was born in Rockland on June 15, 1953, to Mildred and Benjamin Ralph Perry Jr.
Brant graduated from Erskine Academy and was a laborer all his life. His passion was playing the drums. He played in several bands. He was a loving, caring, easy going individual who liked to tease.
Brant is predeceased by mother, Mildred Rood; and father, Benjamin R. Perry Jr.
He is survived by sisters, Sandee Gordon of Chelsea, and Dorothy Parker of Friendship; brothers, Robert Perry of Windsor, and Brian Perry of Rockland; and 15 other half-brothers and sisters around the U.S.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5-7 p.m., Wed., Oct. 5 at Hall Funeral Home of Waldoboro. A graveside service to celebrate Brant’s life will be held at 11 a.m., Thurs., Oct. 6 at Shepherd Cemetery, Rt. 32 in Jefferson with Pastor Tom Rawley officiating.
