Carol (Cook) Rudsit, 49, of Damariscotta, died Jan. 9 at Miles Memorial Healthcare Facility.
She was born in Augusta, May 5, 1958, the daughter of James and Nancy (Debois) Cook.
She moved to California in 1978 where she met her husband, Edgar, in 1988. Carol and Edgar moved to Oregon until they moved back to Maine in 2002.
She loved all animals, music, gardening and cooking and enjoyed making jewelry.
Carol was well loved by anyone who met her. All enjoyed her laughter and she will be greatly missed by all.
She is survived by her husband, Edgar; father, James Cook; brothers-in-law, John Rudsit and Bruce Rudsit; sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Rudsit; nieces, Rachel Rudsit and Lauren Rudsit; as well as her cousin, Cindy Chase.
Due to the love Carol had for animals, donations may be made in her memory to an animal shelter of one’s choice.
Arrangements are under the care of Direct Cremation of Maine, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast.
