
Cecile Bernadette Temple, 70, of Waldoboro, passed away with her family by her side on Sept. 6 at her home. She was born on March 15, 1947 in Biddeford to Alexander Dussault and Rachel Belanger Dussault.
Cecile grew up in Biddeford attending local schools. She then moved to Auburn and then back to Biddeford. She worked in a shoe shop (Kesslin) in Saco and one in the Kennebunk area. She then married and raised her family and then worked for 27 years at McDonald’s in the Augusta-Gardiner area.
Cecile loved to crochet and knit in her spare time and treasured every moment she spent with her family.
She is predeceased by her parents; mother-in-law and father-in-law Dorothy and Burton Temple; and brother-in-law, Harry Temple.
Cecile is survived by her husband of 49 years, Robert L. Temple; daughters, Mary Temple and significant other John Bennette Jr. of Waldoboro, and Susan Dumas and husband John of Augusta; son, Scott Temple and wife Holly of Winthrop; brother, Marcel Dussault and wife Mary of Scarborough; niece, Lynne Chase and husband Lucas of Wells; nephew, Rick Dussault and significant other Jenn Gondek of Biddeford; grandchildren, Michael Temple, Aaron Temple, Alex Temple, Sara Dumas, and John Dumas, all of Augusta; and one great-grandchild, Aiden Temple of Augusta.
Visiting hours will be held from 6-8 p.m., Mon., Sept. 11 at the Hall Funeral Home, 949 Main St., Waldoboro. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Tues., Sept. 12 at the Hall Funeral Home, Waldoboro.
