While at First Baptist she served on the Hospitality Committee, as a Sunday school teacher, youth teacher, and as church treasurer for 13 years; and was a member of the Ladies Missionary Society. While at WRBC she served on the Missionary Committee, Hospitality Committee, and the Flower and Decorating Committee. Celia always considered it a joy to serve her Lord, no matter what the capacity.
