Christopher David Cole passed away to be with his Lord early March 11 after a courageous battle with two types of Muscular Dystrophy.
Chris was born in Auburn, N.Y. on March 26, 1969. The family moved to Waldoboro a year later. He attended Friendship Village to 5th grade then went to Coastal Christian School, which started in his yard. He graduated from Medomak Valley High School in 1987.
Despite physical adversities Chris accomplished many things. He started a successful mowing business in high school and went to WCVI for a diploma in plumbing, after which he passed the state boards. He attended Bob Jones University and later became a CNA with a CRMA certification.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in Waldoboro all his life.
Chris was a true conservative with a compassionate heart. His family knew him as a loving & giving man. He loved the Lord and was a true prayer warrior.
His interests went from hunting, fishing, trapping and gardening to karate, N.R.A. & survival prepping. He loved movies, dogs, and kids.
He is survived by his dad and mom, David and Susan Cole of Waldoboro; brothers, Gabriel and Nathaniel Cole of Waldoboro; sister-in-law, Misty Cole of Waldoboro; nieces, Karina Cole and Jewel Cole of Waldoboro, and Laura Cole of Mt. Vernon; nephews, Nikolas Cole of Waldoboro, and Colby Cole and Caleb Cole of Mt. Vernon; cousins, John Cole, Maria Cole, Elizabeth Sheehan, Sarah and Robbie Wareheim, Erin Martin, Hillary and Garrett Schilke; as well as aunt Karen and uncle Bob, and uncle Bobby and aunt Paula.
A celebration of Chris’ life will be held at 1 p.m., Sun., April 2 at the First Baptist Church of Waldoboro.
