David B. Ruscetta, 66, of Boothbay Harbor, died March 29 at his residence following a long illness.
He was a graduate of Upper Darby High School and Temple University in Pennsylvania. David left Temple to join the U.S. Air Force, serving in Vietnam. Returning from the war, he finished his education at Temple University. David worked his way up the corporate ladder toward his profession as a newspaper publisher, working for many syndications.
Davis and his wife Kate retired to Maine in 1992.
He was a member of the American Legion, Rod & Gun Club, Boothbay, and the NRA. David enjoyed sailing with his wife Kate, and working to rebuild old cars and enjoyed motorcycles.
David is survived by his wife of 20 years, Kate Murphy-Ruscetta of Edgecomb; nephew, Kevin Guilfoil and wife Susan of New York; grand-nieces, Lauren and Emma Kate of New York; and also his faithful companions, Roxie and Rocky.
Private family services will be held at a later date in Weymouth, Mass.
