Deanna H. Mansir, of Wiscasset and West Melbourne, Fla., passed away Jan. 26 peacefully at her home in Wiscasset after a courageous battle with cancer.
Deanna was born on March 15, 1942, raised in Dresden and graduated from Bridge Academy. She was one of six children born to the late Bernard and Esther Bailey and was the beloved wife of Richard E. Mansir for over 55 years.
Deanna loved listening to gospel music, going to Israel and being with her family.
Deanna touched the lives of many people with her smile and generosity and maintained her trademark sense of humor all the way to the end.
Deanna is survived by loving sisters, Sylvia Jones, Reta Lemar, Bernadine Bailey and Mavis Hinckley; beloved children, Denise Sutter, Darryl Mansir and Darren Mansir; treasured grandchildren, Jason Sutter, Jeffery Sutter, Brian Sutter, Justan Mansir, Crystal Mansir, Victoria Rosario, and Matthew Mansir; along with countless other friends and family.
Visiting hours will be held from 6-8 p.m., Sat., Jan. 31 at Daigle Funeral Home, 819 High St., Bath. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m., Sun., Feb. 1 at the Elim Community Church, 1184 Washington St., Bath with Pastor Brad Mullins officiating. Burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery in Dresden in the spring.
