Debra McGarry Spence, of Bath, passed away on Dec. 29, 2014, after suffering a long illness with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.
Debra was born on July 8, 1954. She was a vibrant, fun, loving, and caring woman. She lived most of her life in Dresden and worked as a member service manager at Five County Credit Union in Bath. She finished her financial career working in the mortgage industry after a move to Florida in 1997. Debra enjoyed many vacations in Jamaica where her surviving spouse, Reginald Spence, resides. She also enjoyed many cruises to the Bahamas in her lifetime. She always loved to listen to her favorite artist, Bob Marley. It would be impossible to name her favorite song, as she had many.
Debra is survived by her mother, Eleanor Ripoll; stepfather, James Ripoll; son, Michael Terrell and wife Amy; daughter, Teresa Burke and husband Reginald; and grandchildren, Kaaleb, Jordan, Caitlyn, and Kelsie Terrell, and Braden and Alex Burke.
Graveside Services will be held at 2 p.m., Sun., July 19 at Maple Grove Cemetery on the Indian Road in Dresden.
