Donald Trask, 82, of Orland, passed away at home on Dec. 8 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Don was born on July 11, 1932 in Damariscotta. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He worked for Westinghouse in Maryland for 29 years. Don returned to Maine after he retired. He spent many hours getting to know everyone around him. Don loved to talk to everyone.
He was survived by his domestic partner of 18 years, Charlene Hunter; sons, Donald Smith of Bath, and Edward Trask; sister, Ruth Johnston of Jefferson; grandson, Coty of West Virginia; Charlene’s children, Malcolm Hunter of Amherst, and Kim Hunter of Orland; and many nieces and nephews.
