Douglas E. Abbott, 27, of Wiscasset, passed away unexpectedly on May 4 at Maine Medical Center, Portland.
Doug was born on May 2, 1987 in Portland, the son of Roland and Leisa Abbott.
He enjoy enjoyed singing heavy metal, hanging out with his friends and especially family. Doug worked as a singer in many bands up and down the East coast.
He was predeceased by his grandparents Elliott “Pucky” and Barbara Abbott, and Douglas Schmal.
Doug is survived by his father, Roland Abbott and significant other Kris Tracy of Wiscasset; mother, Leisa Sampson and husband Matt of Wiscasset; sisters, Heather, Jamie, Mandy, Shelby, and Maddison; brothers, Max, and Sam; stepbrother, Aidan; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the care of Kincer Funeral Home, 130 Pleasant St., Richmond.
