Faith MacDonald Clark, 70, of Rome, N.Y., who grew up in Jefferson, went home to be with the Lord on Oct. 16, at her home.
She was born Dec. 3, 1939, in Milton, Mass., and moved to the “Pine Tree” state as a small child. Faith was the daughter of Marian MacDonald Graffam and former Maine Secretary of State and District Court Judge, Paul A. MacDonald. A 1957 graduate of Lincoln Academy in Newcastle, ME, and the Stevens School of the Bible in 1980, she taught at Rome Community Christian School for many years, before retiring.
Faith was predeceased by her parents, Marian Graffam and the Hon. Paul A. MacDonald; and sister, Joyce MacDonald Reed.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Theodore Clark Sr.; brother, Maj. Glenn B. MacDonald, USAR (Ret); daughter, Kimberly Pruitt; and sons, Wesley Clark and Theodore Clark Jr.; and grandchildren, Casey, Kyle, Samuel, Kendall and Kaitlyn.
Memorial service 2 p.m., Sat., Oct. 23 at the New Beginnings Community Church, 5963 Sleepy Hollow Rd., Rome, N.Y. Relatives and friends may call 4:30-6:30 p.m., Fri., Oct. 11 at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut St., Rome, N.Y.
