Francis George LeBoeuf, 69, of Waldoboro, passed away on the morning of June 28 at his home.
Born in Webster, Mass. on Feb. 4, 1938, he was the son of Edmund and Eva (Chauvin) LeBoeuf.
Frank was raised and educated on the west side of Manchester, N.H. He attended elementary school at St. Raphael’s and graduated from West High School in 1955. He entered the U.S. Navy that same year and proudly served his country on the USS Columbus from 1955-1961.
After leaving the service, he started his career as a senior engineering writer at Sanders Associates/Lockheed Martin, where he remained for 37 years. After retirement in 1998, he and his wife, Patricia, moved to Maine where he was able to turn his attention to his many interests and hobbies.
Frank was known for his love of military history, his patriotism, and especially for his six grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Patricia (Leone) LeBoeuf of Waldoboro; daughters, Ellen LeBoeuf of Holyoke, Mass., Ann Kampe and husband Chris of Wellesley, Mass., Donna McClure and husband Paul of Waldoboro, and Laura LeBoeuf of Manchester, N.H.; grandchildren, Molly, Julia, Christina, Josie, Jenna and Jack; brother, Edmund LeBoeuf of Manchester, N.H.; sisters, Toni, Doris and Patricia; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass 11 a.m., Tues., July 3 at St. Patrick’s Church in Newcastle, with Rev. Alfred Irving officiating.
Frank will be laid to rest at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Newcastle.
