James Willis MacComb, 45, of Mt. Vernon, Ohio, and formerly of Pocomoke City, Md., conceded to a hard fought battle of renal failure on Dec. 8, 2007. He was born Jan. 4, 1962.
James is the son of Richard and Belva Whitaker MacComb of Pittston and the grandson of the late Willis and Edna MacComb of Pittston and Arthur and Lucy Whitaker of China.
James graduated from Pocomoke City High School in Maryland and Central Technical School in Ohio. He was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon, Ohio and formerly of the Goodwill Baptist Church in Pocomoke City, Md.
James will be remembered by his reserved, quiet, and meticulous ways.
Besides his parents, James is survived by one sister, Janice (Christopher) Overholt of Ohio; two nephews, John and Ian Overholt of Ohio; many aunts, uncles and many, many cousins all of Maine.
At James’ request graveside service 2 p.m., Tues., April 29 at Alna Cemetery on Rt. 218 in Alna.
