Laura S. Tucker, 51, of Jefferson, died the evening of April 25 at her home.
She was born July 10, 1962 in Concord, Mass., a daughter of the late John and Carolyn (Maxwell) Hatch.
Laura was a graduate of Avon High School in Avon, Conn., class of 1979 and served honorably in the U.S. Navy. She moved to Maine in 1994 and was a member of the Wells-Hussey American Legion Post #42 in Damariscotta. Laura was a devoted mother who loved her children. She enjoyed attending fairs throughout Maine and visiting Pemaquid Point.
Laura is survived by children, Burt Tucker of Amherst, Mass., and Ashlee Tucker of Jefferson; sister, Janet Spiller and husband Wayne of Chamberlain; brothers, Douglas Hatch and wife Catherine of Stow, Mass., Robert Hatch and wife Sharon of Hubbardston, Mass., and Kenneth Hatch and wife Nathalie of St. Johnsbury, Vt.; many nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Services will be held at the convenience of her family.
