Lois A. Bradeen, 72, formerly of Scarborough and Limington, died on March 19 at Coastal Manor Nursing Home in Yarmouth. She was born in Cape Elizabeth on Aug. 22, 1943, a daughter of Thomas “Toby” and Abbie (Seiders) Martin. She attended Cape Elizabeth schools and graduated from Cape Elizabeth High School in 1961.
She worked at Mammoth Mart in Scarborough for many years. Later in life she worked for 15 years at The Viking Nursing Home in Cape Elizabeth in the laundry department. In her spare time she enjoyed reading and ceramics and she loved listening to country music. She bowled at the Big 20 Bowling Lanes in Scarborough for over 20 years. Above all she enjoyed time spent with loving family and friends including their annual reunions around South Bristol, her mother’s hometown.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 34 years, Glenn Bradeen.
She is survived by daughter, Melody Miller and fiancé Jason Goan of Hiram; brothers, Thomas Martin III and wife Tammy of Stetson, and Ralph Martin and wife Betty of Scarborough; grandchildren, Hailee Hunt and Raven Lichtenberg; and a large extended family.
A graveside service will be held at a later date.
