Maxine Creamer Gahm, 88, of Waldoboro, passed away at home on July 14.
Maxine was born Jan. 14, 1927 in Rockland to Edna and John Skinner. After graduating RHS in 1945, she married Carroll Creamer. After his death, she married Phillip Gahm.
After her retirement from Anchor Glass, she returned home to Maine. She loved Scrabble, the ocean, thrift stores, crocheting, reading, baking, and her dog Diego. Her most precious job in life was raising her four girls.
She was predeceased by husbands, Carroll and Phillip; grandson, Alexander; and four sisters.
She is survived by daughters, Carol Day and husband Robert, Sandra Theriaque, Mary Dauphinais and Sherman Benoit, and Melody Seymour; three stepchildren; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; eight siblings; and nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m., Sat., July 25 at the Bremen Town Landing. Guests are asked to wear black and white, which were Maxine’s colors.
