Melodie Lee Barnett-Knisley, 37, of Nobleboro, passed away March 27 at her home. Melodie was born March 5, 1981 in Dayton, Ohio.
She enjoyed being silly with her girls, boating with her fiance, Terry and pet, Snickers, talking on the phone to her mom, and spending time with her family.
Melodie was preceded in death by husband, Michael Knisley; brother, Brandon Barnett; maternal papaw, James Watkins; and paternal grandparents, Elmo and Icel Bea Barnett.
She is survived by mother, Wava Turner of Vandalia, Ohio; father and stepmother, Anthony (Sheila) Barnett of Merritt Island, Fla.; daughters, Bailee Barnett, and Cheyanne Knisley; brother, Chad (Jara) Barnett; stepsister, Michelle (Mike) Guay; grandparents, Lowell and Kathryn Schereyer; fiance, Terry Stafford; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins as well as many friends including her beloved furry friend Snickers.
The family will honor her life privately at a later date.
