Modelle Kirvan, of Indiana, passed away on April 29 at the Country Manor Nursing Home in Coopers Mills.
Modelle was born in Albion, Ind. on July 5, 1918.
She managed the cafeteria at the Goodwin School in Grand Rapids and later on had owned and operated several restaurants in Indiana and Michigan which were know for home cooking.
She is survived by her sister, Mildred Beckley of Florida; son, Thomas Kirvan and daughter-in-law, Yvonne Lamoreaux of Jefferson; stepchildren, Ruth Tudor of Florida, and Richard Kirvan of Michigan; and 11 grandchildren.
Arrangements are under the guidance of Independent Death Care, 471 Deering Ave., Portland.
