Nancy Arlene Boucher, 80, of Whitefield, passed away on Jan. 10 at Chase Point Assisted Living in Damariscotta with her loving family at her side. She was born on July 22, 1933 in Brunswick to John and Thelma Stimpson Hudson.
Nancy grew up in Brunswick where she attended Brunswick High School. She worked as a seamstress for Health Tex until it closed. She then went to work for Bath Iron Works for 10 years and then retired to watch her grandkids.
Nancy married Alfred Boucher on March 9, 1951 in Bath where they lived until his passing. They were happily married for 31 years. Nancy was a regular season ticket holder at the Brunswick Music Theatre. Nancy and her sister Barbara always loved spending time in Bar Harbor.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Boucher; parents, John and Thelma Hudson; sister, Sonja Nadeau; brother, Lloyd “Skip” Hudson; and longtime gentleman friend, Roland “Pat” Patterson.
She is survived by her current companion of many years, Arthur “Buzz” Gould, who took Nancy (little one) on many adventures; children, John Boucher and wife Laurie Boucher of Richmond, and Kent Boucher and wife Lisa Boucher of Nobleboro; sisters, Barbara Tibbetts and husband Charles of Bath, and Jeanette Arsenault and husband Joe of Bath; brothers, Peter Hudson and wife Sharon of Bath, David Hudson (and late wife Judy) of Bath, and Jack Hudson (and late wife Rita) of Bath; and sister-in-law, Lilia (wife of late Skip Hudson); grandchildren, Chris Boucher, Monica Garland, and John Boucher Jr. of Richmond, Robert Jolly of Vassalboro, Brandon Boucher and Kaleb Boucher of Whitefield, and Kayla Martin and Ashley Martin of Nobleboro; many great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews and other relatives.
