Peter John Collins, 47, of Waldoboro, was found Oct. 26, having passed away from injuries sustained in an automobile accident believed to occurred Sept. 19.
He was born Aug. 6, 1963 in Milford, Mass., a son of William and Charlotte Szymanski Collins, and attended local schools, including Medomak Valley High School.
Peter was a life-long fisherman and scalloped out of New Bedford Harbor.
He loved riding his Harley Davidson, attending bike rallies in Laconia and taking cruises on sunny days. He enjoyed cooking, attending rock concerts and spending time with his family and friends.
He will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor.
Peter was predeceased by his first wife, Heidi Beal Collins; second wife, Christine Currier Collins; and brothers, Scott Nichols and Chris Nichols.
Survivors include mother, Charlotte Nichols of Waldoboro; brothers, Bruce F. Nichols of Waldoboro, Thomas L. Nichols of South China, William C. Collins of Appleton and Stephen F. Collins of Nobleboro; sister, Kelly Nichols of Waldoboro; and nieces and nephews, Blake, Breanna and Charlotte Nichols of Waldoboro, Williams S. Collins and Hillary Jackson of Waldoboro and Hanna and Greg Collins of Nobleboro.
