Peter Willoughby Beauchamp, 73, of Bristol, returned to his heavenly father on July 9.
Peter was born in Boston, Mass., a son of the late Lucien and Nancy (Richards) Beauchamp. He grew up in Massachusetts with his sister, Sandra and was a graduate of Boston University. He also traveled extensively around the world on mission trips, enjoyed running, playing chess with his sons and participating in the Bristol Footlighters. Peter also worked for Bath Iron Works for 20 years in the design division, and following his retirement entered into a career of teaching.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Arlene; and eldest son, Peter.
Peter was survived by sons and their wives, Jonathan and Linda, William and Barbara, Michael and Theresa; and sister, Sandra; as well as his seven grand-dogs.
