Randall Lee Smith, 57, of Farmington, died July 26 at Togus. He was born Oct. 8, 1949 in Lewisburg, Penn., a son of the late Kenneth L. and Violet E. (Duck) Smith.
Mr. Smith was a graduate of Milton High School in Milton, Penn., class of 1967. From 1969 through 1975 he served honorably in the U.S. Army. For over 20 years he worked for various locations of Newbury’s Department Store, 14 of which were in management, and then for nearly 15 years as manager of Food City in Wilton. Mr. Smith had a passion for music, his band “The Apollos” in his teens and several bands thereafter; he started his own D.J. service in the 1980’s for special events.
Mr. Smith is survived by daughter, Amy Trahan and her husband Bill, Jr. of Waldoboro; sons, Trevor Smith of Milford and Brian Smith of Industry; sister, Connie Sanders and husband Ken of Lewisburg, Penn.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family at 1 p.m., Thurs., Aug. 16 at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Mount Vernon Rd., Augusta.
