Raymond Remick Jr., 75, of Monhegan Island, known as “Sonny,” died April 24 at Penobscot Bay Medical Center after a brief illness.
He is survived by a daughter, Kinda Remick Priestley of East Greenwich, R.I.; and four grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held from 2-4 p.m., Sat., May 3 at Hall’s of Thomaston, 78 Main St., Thomaston. A burial service will be held on Monhegan Island in the summer.
For those island residents wishing to attend the visiting hours this week, Monhegan Boat Line will run a special return charter to the island at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.
