Raymond Harold Wall, 68, of Waldoboro, died Aug. 10 at Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta after a brief illness.
Mr. Wall was born in Rockland on Oct. 30, 1939, the son of the late Charles and Ida Larrabee Wall. He attended Rockland schools.
He was employed by several companies in the area, including Green Island Packing, Rockland Poultry Co. and Port Clyde Foods for over 20 years.
Mr. Wall was known for his ability to fix things and helping his neighbors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and tending his gardens during the summer.
Survivors include his children, Sylvia Wall of Alabama, Michael Dumond of Georgia, Stan McGrath of Waldoboro, Stormie Hendrickson and husband Bruce of Waldoboro, and Laurie Wall of Maine; 14 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren, and many brothers, sisters, nephews and nieces.
Private services will be held.
