Rebecca Marie Cunio, 82, of Wiscasset, died Oct. 15 at her residence.
She was born in Wiscasset on July 9, 1930, a daughter of George Cleveland and Viola Pearl (Dickinson) Grover.
She attended Wiscasset schools and on Dec. 24, 1947 she married Harold Tasker. She was employed at the Wiscasset Telephone Company and later in Bath, retiring in the 1970s. She married Paul E. Cunio and they resided in Maryland. In 1989 she moved to Florida and then to Wiscasset this year to live with her daughter, Stephanie.
She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Easton, Md. and the American Legion Auxiliary in Bath.
She was predeceased by sisters, Ruth Belanger and Margery Hasson.
She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Hastings of Wiscasset; sister, Marion Bailey of Woolwich; and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Oct. 18 at Grover Cemetery in Woolwich.
