Sally A. Reilly, “Me Me,” 82, of Hudson, Fla. passed away May 4 under the care of her loving family.
A native of New Harbor, she came to Hudson in 2003, but New Harbor was always home. Sally was a homemaker, devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved taking care of her family and cooking. One of her specialties was her famous Whoopie Pie. Though Mr. and Mrs. Reilly loved their home in Maine on the harbor, they were bit by the traveling bug, and upon leaving Maine, she and her husband Lee spent time traveling the country in their R.V., visiting over 25 states before settling in Hudson, Fla.
She enjoyed dancing, country music, and when she could make it to the slot machines on the SunCruz. Mrs. Reilly was Protestant by faith and a member of The Order of The Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, George, Jerry and Carol; and sister, Corrine.
Survivors include her loving husband of 64 years, Lee; son, Terry Reilly and wife Kelly of Hudson, Fla.; daughter, Victoria Reilly of Hudson, Fla.; grandchildren, James Reilly and wife Zoee of Land O’ Lakes, Fla., and Krystle Patenaude and husband Jared of Trinity, Fla.; great-grandchildren, Evie and Lexi Reilly of Land O’ Lakes, Fla., plus another “on the way.”
A celebration of her life will be held at Grace Memorial Funeral Home, 16931 U.S. Hwy. 19, Hudson, Fla., 11 a.m., Wed., May 13. The family will receive friends at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Grace Memorial Gardens.
