“Scott” Walter Maynard Crosman, 45, of Wiscasset, went to be with his Lord and Savior after a tragic car accident on Feb. 11. He was born Dec. 29, 1968, in Augusta, to Harold L. Crosman and Jill Rogers Crosman. He grew up in South Gardiner and attended schools in Gardiner.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, kayaking, karate at MIKA Fitness in Randolph, riding his motorcycle on and off road, playing computer games and his dogs Moxie and Nala, African gray parrot Shannon, and cats Jack and Smokie.
He was always there to help anyone who needed it. He always had a smile and infectious laugh. He worked at a number of places in his life, most recently at Computer Sciences Corp. at Bath Iron Works as a systems administrator.
Above all else, Scott loved his Lord and was always ready to share his faith with anyone who would listen, and some who wouldn’t. He loved to work in the audio/visual booth at church.
Scott was predeceased by his father, Harold; paternal grandparents, Walter and Margaret Crosman; maternal grandparents, Stanley and Kathleen Rogers; aunts, Joan Gosline-Corsa, Jenny May Allen, and Valerie Ayers; and uncle, Levi Crosman.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Wendi; sons, Kevin and Kyle; daughter, Rachel Perron and husband Kyle of Colorado Springs, Col.; mother, Jill Crosman of Brockton, Mass.; sisters, Cathy Crosman of Brockton, Mass., and Lori Leighton and husband Eric of Gardiner; uncles, Bob Ayers of Feltham, United Kingdom, George Crosman and Charlie Allen; several nephews, nieces and cousins; very special in-laws, Bill and Donna Young of Brunswick; and more friends than can be counted.
Services were held Feb. 15 at the Brunswick Church of the Nazarene, Brunswick.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the audio/visual fund at the Brunswick Nazarene Church, 94 McKeen St., Brunswick, ME 04011.
