Shawn E. “Fergie” Ferguson, 42, of Whitefield, died April 24 in Windsor as the result of an automobile accident. He was born in Gardiner on April 13, 1966, the son of Edward S. Ferguson and Lorraine B. (Hubbard) Ferguson.
Shawn was a 1983 graduate of Erskine Academy.
He was employed as a master electrician by Travers Electric of Skowhegan for a short time. He was previously employed by the State of Maine Bureau of General Services, and he was a self employed electrical contractor for several years, doing business as Fergie/Son Electrical Service.
Shawn liked the outdoors. He liked hunting, fishing, camping, golfing, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, and especially liked spending time with his son, Ryan.
Surviving is his wife, Elaine (Giroux) Ferguson of Whitefield; mother, of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; son, Ryan S. Ferguson of Whitefield; sister, Cassandra Tondreau of Augusta; two aunts, an uncle and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial visiting hours April 28 at Plummer Funeral Home, Windsor. Burial in Rest Haven Cemetery, Windsor.
